I went to https://usautoinsurancenow.com to get a quote for insurance. At the bottom of the page it states the company name is everquote. They recommended an insurance company, I called them, and they saved me a ton of money. Done, right? Oh no. Thats when the scam calls started, sometimes 10-12 a day. I talked to one that was not a scammer, and he told me he bought a list from everquote, and wont be doing it again. Ive gotten my number on the national do not call registry, removed myself from the everquote lists, and told callers to stop calling me. Nothing works, and most of these numbers are spoofed. I called the contact number for https://usautoinsurancenow.com, and the operator told me that everquote was not affiliated with usautoinsurancenow.I gave her the link and told her to take me off the list Thats how shady this stuff is! Don’t user their website. Nov 09, 2016 This is a scam! They have a fake ad on sites like CNN that sucks you into clicking on it. They say they will get you multiple insurance quotes. They gather some information then direct you to multiple insurance websites to provide additional information. They also send your phone number to multiple insurance companies who will immediately call you. I do not recommend these jerks and suggest you stay away. They don’t anything for you that you can;t do on your own by just contacting different insurance agencies. Better yet, use an insurance broker who can get you multiple quotes from multiple agencies. I clicked on a video talking about a new program for good drivers in which you can make up to $750. It led to "Pleasegetinsured.com" which i filled out the info -and after i submitted my email address and phone - boom. It’s a quote service for insurance companies instead. Baited and switched. Just another phony sales pitch to hopefully get you to bite the hook. Were just tire of scrolling through your home screen and have to see this crap pop up behind your pages. Stop the misleading crap. Your rates suck, your coverage is worse. Get people to buy under coverage insurance to save money. Bottom line if you get in an accident with $20,000 worth of insurance and you hit a $80,000 car you’re in deep *** Your responsible personally for the other $60,000 your insurance does not cover and hope nobody ends up in the hospital you also responsible for that. You save a few hundred dollars after an accident you owe tens of thousands maybe more. A lot of times these agents sort thru the insurance chaos and choose the best company and policy to go with.
